5 STAR TALENT THEATRE SCHOOL NEWS
All of the 5 STAR teams have had a fantastic start to this term.
The Junior Stars have learnt the 'Dynamite' Dance routine. The Senior Stars have learnt the 'Head and Heart' Dance routine.
The Actors have rehearsed Beauty and the Beast, Annie and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
At the start of term, the Actors were scheduled to rehearse the Cinderella script this week. It became apparent whilst rehearsing the other scripts, that at the moment, the actors most need help with voice projection and confidence.
Whilst planning a Halloween session for later in the month, enough spooky fun and excitement was planned to last a few weeks! The actors will learn tongue twisting spells, develop magical, spooky, improvisations and be involved in Halloween craziness. The aim is to develop their voice projection, lower their acting inhibitions and as always have fabulous fun. The Cinderella script will be rehearsed in a couple of weeks.
5 STAR usually has a Halloween party which non 5 STAR children have been welcome to attend.
Due to the current restrictions imposed, people are no longer allowed to have parties.
Some of you will already know how much Emma loves to dress up in fancy dress. Halloween Fancy Dress classes for our Dance and Drama students, are currently being planned, more information will be given soon.
A uniform order will be submitted very soon. If your child would like a hoodie, this is the best time of year to be purchasing one. The next clothing order is likely to be in February.
T-shirts are available to purchase and can be brought to class this Thursday. All children who have completed their 5 STAR trial usually wear a 5 STAR top to class. Wearing the same, gives a feeling of being part of a team.
This is the time of year when schools will be sending out letters requesting Christmas raffle prizes.
A 5 STAR TALENT £25 voucher has already been offered to Hursthead Junior School.
If your child attends a different school, 5 STAR will happily offer a voucher as a raffle prize. Raffle prizes will be brought to class in an envelope for your child to take into school.
Thank you for submitting up to date Contact Details forms. It's extremely important that 5 STAR have an up to date Contact Details form every September and if there are any changes to a child's details.
If your child is asthmatic, they should be bringing their inhaler with them to class.
