5 Star Unique Talent have been given the opportunity to audition to perform in the celebrity pantomime production of Dick Whittington at the Opera House in Manchester.
5 Star Unique Talent will take 16 - 20 children to audition to be in the pantomime. The pantomime will require two teams of eight to ten children to perform throughout the season.
There are 52 performances, so each team of eight to ten children would perform in 26 shows.
Parent chaperones will be organised to escort the children to rehearsal and shows. Only some parents will be required to chaperone. This means that the children of parents with work commitments can still perform in the show. A rota will be given so that if any holidays or events are already booked, the children will perform on alternative dates. The pantomime choreographer will attend 5 Star Unique Talent classes on two or three occasions prior to the Manchester rehearsals in order to teach the routines.
During the production run the children will be required permission for some educational absence from school.
This is a great opportunity for the performers to gain experience in a professional theatre environment with leading theatre performers and a top creative team.
